TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data (so-called log files) whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site and may be exhibited to the Judicial Authorities if they explicitly request it.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages or requests to the addresses indicated on this site, or the completion of the contact form, entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.

After the first contact, we may request additional personal data from the data subject; we will limit ourselves to the data necessary for the provision of the services/provision of the requested products.

Information collected through cookies and other technologies

Cookies: Definitions, characteristics, and enforcement

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, tablet, cell phone, or other mobile device (collectively referred to as a "device") to record certain data each time you access or interact with our sites, services, applications, to be then re-transmitted to the same sites on your next visit. Thanks to cookies, a site remembers the user's actions and preferences (e.g., login data, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user returns to visit the specific site or use the app. Cookies, therefore, are used to perform computer authentication, session tracking, and storage of information regarding the activities of users accessing a site/app and may also contain a unique identifier code that allows tracking of the user's navigation within the site/app for statistical or advertising purposes.

In the course of browsing or using an app, you may also receive cookies on your device from sites or web servers other than the one you are visiting (so-called "third-party" cookies). Some operations could not be accomplished without the use of cookies, which are therefore in some cases technically necessary for the operation of the site/app.

Cookies can be first-party (installed by the site the user is visiting) or third-party, installed by a site other than the one being visited: these cookies are sent to the user's browser by third-party companies for purposes such as profiling, advertising delivery, or social interaction.

Cookies can be divided into two macrocategories:

  • Technical cookies: come from the website displayed and can be permanent or temporary; they are used to store information that will be reused the next time you visit the site. They are useful to make browsing websites quick and fast, for example they intervene to facilitate certain procedures when shopping online, when authenticating to restricted areas, in recognizing the language of the browser. This category of cookies includes analytics, session and functionality cookies, used by the owner to, for example, collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they use the Site, or to save your browsing preferences, such as language. They may be temporary (they are removed from your computer when you close your browser), or permanent (stored on your computer even after you close your browser). The use of technical cookies and the performance of processing related to them does not require your prior consent. The legal basis that allows the processing of related data is the performance of services requested directly by the data subject (Art. 6.1, b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 - 'GDPR').

  • Profiling cookies: these are aimed at creating profiles related to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing online. The legal basis that allows the processing of the relevant data is optional consent, and the user can choose which profiling cookies to consent to.

Types of cookies used by this site

For the detailed list of cookies used to provide our services, please refer to the information in the cookie management panel.

Strictly necessary cookies (always on): these are cookies that are necessary for the site to function and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions (taken by the user) that constitute a request for services such as setting privacy preferences, logging in, or filling out forms. Users can set their browsers to block these cookies, but some parts of the site may not function properly. These cookies do not store personal information.

Third-party analytical cookies (Analytics) to make navigation functional: if technical cookies serve the perfect functioning of the site, Analytics cookies (Piwik PRO) are used to improve the user interface of the site, optimize sales and marketing content thanks to anonymous and aggregated analysis provided by a third party.

Nature of data provision and consequences of refusal

The installation of technical cookies is necessary to enable access to the Site and the use of its features, and does not require the consent of the data subject.

The installation of profiling cookies is not strictly necessary for the use of the Site and is in fact subject to your consent. Disabling this type of cookie will not prevent you from browsing and using the Site, it being understood that in this case the Data Controller may not be able to send you personalized advertising messages about products and services.

Methods of processing and parties who may have access to the data

Your personal data collected through cookies are processed by electronic means for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Personal data are processed in accordance with applicable regulations, taking appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction. Your data will be processed by authorized personnel and Data Processors adequately identified by the Data Controller, and specially trained in processing.

Without the need for express consent, your data may be disclosed as a result of inspections or audits (if requested by us), to all inspection bodies responsible for audits and controls of the regularity of legal compliance.

Disabling cookies and consent

You can also visit the site without cookies, although in this case you may not be able to take full advantage of all its features or services offered. Most browsers accept cookies automatically.

You can manage and disable your preferences with respect to different types of cookies by accessing your browser settings:

or directly from the dedicated cookie control tool when you access the site: By clicking the "ACCEPT ALL" button, you consent to the use of all non-technical cookies, thus including profiling and social cookies. Consent is optional and can be revoked at any time. If the user wishes to manage their preferences and choose which cookies to install, they can click on the "PERSONALIZE COOKIE CHOICES" button. By closing the cookie control banner, clicking on the X in the upper right corner, the user does not give consent to the use of cookies that require consent, and thus maintains the default settings (only technical cookies are active).

To get information about the cookies stored on your terminal and disable them individually, you should visit the following page: www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte

You can delete any cookies already stored on your device at any time.

Rights of the data subject:

At any time and without any formality, the Interested Party may exercise his or her rights under the current legislation on the protection of personal data:

  • right of access, requesting confirmation from the Data Controller that there is or is not a processing of data concerning him/her, as well as further clarification about the information set forth in this policy, and to receive the data itself (within reasonable limits);

  • Right of rectification, to obtain rectification or supplementation of data held by the Controller, if inaccurate;

  • Right of deletion, to request that your data processed by the Data Controller be deleted if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or where there are no outstanding disputes or litigation, or in case of withdrawal of consent or opposition to processing, or in case of unlawful processing, or finally if there is a legal obligation to delete;

  • restriction of processing, to obtain a temporary blocking of the processing of your personal data when one of the conditions set forth in Article 18 of the GDPR is met;

  • opposition: making it so that the Controller must refrain from continuing to process your data on the basis of its own legitimate interest, unless there are legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh those of the user, for example, for the exercise or defense of a right in court;

  • portability: to receive your data, or have it transmitted to another data controller, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

In addition, the data subject may withdraw his or her consent to the processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given previously.

Data subjects may exercise their rights at any time by contacting the Owner at info@fourdays.it

In accordance with current regulations, in addition to the above rights, you also have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority by accessing www.garanteprivacy.it
